What a true adventure it has been the past two months selling posessions, having garage sales, putting stuff in storage and packing up the rv to live in full time. Not to mention saying good bye to neighbors and friends that I have known for over 18 years.
Day one started out with a bang. I rented a site locally so I would have a place to stay while in town. A little lot in an local rv park. The manager made a little mistake so my spot wasn't ready for me the day I arrived but he said he had a temporary spot for me until my new spot was ready. I said no worries. He told me which site to pull into so I headed to it. While backing into the site that wasn't really big enough for my almost 40 foot rv I backed into a fire hydrant. Oh no was this a sign of things to come?
I finally got settled in after a few minutes and looked at the damage which really isn't to bad and the fire hydrant had no damage at all. I was hooked up and ready to relax. Which is exactly what I did for the next two days.
